About the program
WHAT HAIR2HAIR IS hair2hair tells you whether a hair product fits your hair. A short onboarding chat builds your Hair Profile: texture, thickness, scalp, wash frequency, heat, color, goals. Then you scan any product by barcode or label photo. You get one of three labels, Perfect fit, Could work, or Not ideal, with a % match and the ingredient breakdown. It's a match for your hair. It doesn't diagnose anything. AUDIENCE People overwhelmed by hair product choice. TikTok told them ten different things. Their shelf is full of products they aren't sure suit their hair, and they don't know if what they're buying helps or hurts. Your video replaces "I hope this works" with an answer on screen. BEFORE YOU FILM 1. Download hair2hair from the App Store. 2. On the first screen, tap "Get Started". DO NOT TAP "LOGIN". Login skips the hair profile and locks your account in a loop that we have to reset by hand. 3. A screen with prices comes up right away. Do not pay. Close it: look at the top-right corner for a small X and tap it. If you don't see the X right away, wait a couple of seconds. 4. Go through the onboarding chat with your real hair answers. At the end another price screen may come up. Same thing: small X in the top-right corner, tap it. 5. On the account screen, choose "Sign up with Google" or "Sign up with email", with an email you check. If you use Apple, pick "Share My Email". With "Hide My Email" we can't find your account to unlock it. Send us that email in Trybe messages. (It's under Profile, then Edit Profile, then Account.) We unlock full access before you film. 6. Until we've unlocked you, the scanner will only let you scan a few products. Send the email first, then film. 7. Film in English, and scan products people can buy in the US (Target, Ulta, Sephora, Amazon, drugstore brands). Our ads run to a US audience first. 8. Do the onboarding before you press record. The video starts at the scan. THE FORMATS Every video follows one of the formats in the Formats section. The structure is fixed. How you run it is up to you, your own hook at your own pace. - Format A, scan before you buy: you're in the store or about to buy something, and you scan it first. - Format B, shelf audit: you scan everything you already own and find the culprit. - Format C, your idea: your own structure.
