What is stored, why, and how to remove it

Updated 23 October 2026. The 23 October update names the top-selling products we look up for TrybeDaily Agency members and the Kalodata ID we send for them. The 22 October update describes the public TikTok profile, products and sales estimates we look up if you join the TrybeDaily Agency; it also explains that leaving pooled figures takes effect from the next month for figures already shown, and how we confirm you accepted the agency’s invite on Trybe. The 20 October update describes what we keep when you join the TrybeDaily Agency. The 20 October update also describes the coded list of who the current combined figures counted and the coded Discord reference we keep after deletion if we removed Founder access that came from Discord. The 17 October update says that the combined figures only the owner sees can compare the brands you follow on TrybeDaily with the dates in your saved results. The 16 October update describes how posts in the TrybeDaily Discord help channels may be read by our AI assistant to help us answer faster. The 15 October update describes Helpful marks and the Helpful member badge in the forum. The 15 October update also describes further combined figures that only the owner sees, across brands and for each brand. The 15 October update also says that we check affiliates’ public TikTok posts for posts about TrybeDaily, that occasional one-time announcements follow your TrybeDaily News setting, and that signing in with Discord can give you a Waitlist or Beta role in the TrybeDaily Discord server. The 14 October update says brand early access is closed and what we keep for people who already signed up. The 14 October update also describes the short record we keep when you leave combined figures, and that switching it off and on repeatedly can leave your results out for up to two days. The 14 October update also says the TikTok handle you gave on the beta waitlist can fill in your first scan on Match my TikTok. The 12 October update also describes asking a brand to join and brand early access. The 12 October update also describes how affiliate link visits are counted by source. The 12 October update describes the combined brand figures that can appear to signed-in members. The 12 October update says that My Results can start reading when you press Get my results on Connect Trybe or My Results, and that the saved copy is saved as soon as your totals are read and again at the end of each refresh, and that we may email beta signups who ticked the brand or agency box about TrybeDaily for brands. The 12 October update also describes the short follow-up record we keep when you contact us as a brand, that brand early access sign-ups can hear about claiming their brand’s page, and text messages (SMS). The 11 October update adds page view counts per brand page, the optional Your week email and push notifications. The 10 October update describes TrybeDaily News, the email every two weeks, and what we store when someone acts for a brand without a brand email. The 8 October update explains how saved My Results can be combined privately into brand-level figures that only the owner sees (combined statistics). The 7 October update adds who handles data for us, AI and your data, getting a copy of your data and asking visitors in Europe and the UK before experience analytics load. This describes the storage and services used by TrybeDaily. The 5 October update adds My Results: what it reads, how results are saved to your account, how long they are kept, and the first rules for combined statistics.

Browsing and browser storage

You can browse without an account. The site uses Cloudflare hosting and Web Analytics. Network requests necessarily reach the hosting provider. The shared site gate and signed-in sessions use cookies. Theme preferences and guest saves use browser storage.

Experience analytics

Visitors in the EU, the rest of the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked first: Clarity stays off unless you choose Accept, and closing the notice is not consent. Everywhere else, experience analytics are on by default and the notice has a Reject button. We use Microsoft Clarity on public pages, including Match My TikTok and brand pages, to see how the site is used so we can improve it. Clarity records clicks, taps, scrolling and page layout, and turns them into heatmaps and session recordings. Page text is masked by default. Text you type, your account details and your scan results are always masked, so a recording shows where you clicked, not what you typed or what the page said about you.

Clarity never runs on sign-in, account or admin pages, on API requests, or when a page address carries a query string or a fragment. The one exception is a brand page address, which may carry only the brand ID. We do not send Clarity account IDs, email addresses, TikTok handles, captions, video IDs, custom tags or custom events. Clarity uses its own cookies to connect the pages of one visit. Recordings are kept according to the Clarity project settings, for up to 30 days.

If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, Clarity never loads. You can also turn it off here. The choice is saved in this browser and applies to every page.

Affiliate referrals

If you arrive through an affiliate link, we use Rewardful to credit the person who referred you. Rewardful uses a first-party referral cookie for up to 60 days; a temporary browser session entry helps preserve the referral while you navigate. If you join the beta list through an affiliate link, we save the referral identifier with your signup email and attach it to your Stripe customer after you verify your account. This lets a later paid subscription earn a commission, including when a beta member discount applies. Rewardful’s Stripe connection processes the customer and payment information needed for attribution. Affiliate tracking does not change your price. We do not load Rewardful on account, sign-in, creator-scan or admin pages, or when Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control is enabled. Clearing browser cookies and storage removes an unsubmitted referral stored in that browser; contact support if you want a saved beta referral removed.

When someone opens a TrybeDaily affiliate link, we count the visit under a general source, such as TikTok, Instagram or direct, based on the link used and the app or site it was opened from, and keep only daily totals per link. We don’t store the visitor’s IP address, the address of the page they came from, or their account. A small cookie remembers that source for 30 days so a later signup can be counted under it, and we don’t count visitors whose browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.

If you join the affiliate program, we check your public TikTok posts once a day for posts about TrybeDaily, and TrybeDaily staff see those posts with your name.

Saved brands, references and notes

Before sign-in, saves and filming notes stay in this browser. Signing in adopts those saves into your account and stores them in Cloudflare D1 so they can sync across devices. Clearing browser data removes unsynced guest saves.

Accounts

We store your email, session tokens, saved brands, video references, notes, category and notification preferences, and any account scan result. Sign-in uses Google, Discord, or an emailed code and single-use link that expire. The session cookie is HttpOnly and Secure. Sign-in mail is delivered by Resend. When you create an account, we record which version of the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy you agreed to and when. When those documents change in a way you need to agree to again, we ask signed-in members once, in a small notice, and record that agreement the same way.

Signing in with Google or Discord

We receive your email address, account ID and display name, and from Discord your username. When you sign in with Discord, we check whether you are a member of a partner community's Discord server, to grant Founder access. If you're in the TrybeDaily Discord server, we give you a Waitlist or Beta role there that matches your access. We do not store Google or Discord access tokens, and signing in with Discord does not let us read your messages. You can delete your account in Account.

TrybeDaily Discord help channels

Posts in the TrybeDaily Discord help, bug report, feature request, introduction and beta channels may be read by our AI assistant (Claude, made by Anthropic) to help us answer faster. We never use them for anything else, and we delete our copies after 30 days.

Public TikTok scans

Requested public posts and attached product information are retrieved through ScrapeCreators. Results are cached, and a signed-in scan may retain matched products and videos in your account. A guest scan can be attached after email verification in the originating browser. No private TikTok account access is requested.

Request limits and other services

Endpoints that send mail or use paid services keep request counters and scan-budget records. These may use an IP address, account identity or browser identifier. Video playback and images can connect directly to Trybe and TikTok media hosts. The site loads its typeface from Google Fonts. Requested script rewrites use the configured AI service. When you ask Scout a research question, your question, up to two recent questions from the open chat, and relevant public help or published brand facts may be sent to Anthropic for an answer. Forum lookups use only discussions you can access and stay on TrybeDaily; forum text is not sent to Anthropic. The open chat keeps up to two recent questions for follow-ups. Public research questions and answers also stay in this browser tab for up to 30 minutes so the chat can continue across pages; forum answers are excluded. New chat clears them. We remove common email addresses, phone numbers, links and token-like strings before sending, but that filter cannot catch every personal detail. Do not put sensitive information in Scout. TrybeDaily stores pseudonymous usage counters and optional helpful/not-helpful votes. For quality review, the owner can see each redacted Scout question, whether Scout answered it, the source route, and model token counts, without the answer, email, IP address or account identity. We remove those records after 30 days. If Scout cannot answer, its redacted question may also appear in a weekly owner digest and is removed from the database after 30 days. A weekly summary goes through our email provider to the verified owner and may remain in that inbox. Anthropic handles API inputs and outputs under its API retention policy.

Email preferences

Account sign-in email remains available. TrybeDaily News, a short email every two weeks, goes to every confirmed account. Turn it off anytime in your account or with one click in any issue. We also send occasional one-time announcements about TrybeDaily, for example new features, the affiliate program or paid plans, unless you turn TrybeDaily News off; turning News off stops these too. Brand-arrival alerts are optional: they use a verified email, a completed scan and your saved consent. Manage brand-arrival and daily-check preferences on Match My TikTok. Your week is an optional weekly email about the brands you save, joined or matched with your videos: pay changes, new products, three suggested brands and one unanswered forum question. It is off until you turn it on in your account, and every issue has a one-click link to turn it off. Push notifications are optional. If you turn them on in a browser, that browser gives us a push address from its push service (Google, Mozilla, Apple or Microsoft) and two encryption keys. We store them with your account only to send brand-change notifications, whose content passes encrypted through that push service. Turning push off in that browser, or deleting your account, removes them, and we delete any the push service reports as expired. The older daily and category newsletters are paused; those subscriptions are separate from accounts and have their own unsubscribe mechanism.

Text messages (SMS)

If you add a mobile number in Account settings, we use it only for what you chose: sign-in codes and account alerts, and/or TrybeDaily updates and offers (up to about 4 a month). We record your consent (the wording you agreed to, when, and the page) and a scrambled form of your network address as proof of consent. Messages are sent through our provider, Twilio. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except providers who deliver the messages for us. Reply STOP to stop all texts, or change your choices in Account settings. Deleting your account deletes your number. A record that a number opted out is kept so we never text it again.

Deletion and backups

Account can delete active account records, saved references, notes, scans, the saved copy of your My Results and sessions. Earlier copies may remain in operational backups until those backups are removed. Public data caches and security request counters are separate from account records. Signing out clears this browser’s account workspace; other browser copies are not remotely erased. If we removed Founder access that came from Discord, we keep a coded reference to that Discord account after deletion so that access is not granted again.

Creator community and Trybe connection

The creator community is a members-only area for brand reviews and discussions. It is opening gradually, by invitation first. Joining it is a separate step: you accept the community agreement when you first connect, in addition to these policies.

When you connect Trybe, the TrybeDaily Connector browser extension reads your Trybe creator ID, username, linked TikTok and Instagram profile URLs, and a complete list of the brands you have joined with their reported status and approved-submission counts. It records when those facts were checked. You preview them before confirming. The standard connection does not collect your Trybe password, login tokens, email, earnings, private messages or individual submissions, and it does not change the TikTok handle you saved for scans.

The Connector also offers a local preview of those facts without sending them to TrybeDaily. We use the information you confirm to connect your account, enable joined-brand community features, and create the anonymous community benchmarks described below only if you opt in from Account. We do not sell Connector data or use it for advertising. Our use of information received from the TrybeDaily Connector follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Private My Trybe pilot, now called My Results. My Results is a separate feature that reads your own Trybe earnings and submission results, and only after you turn it on. It is described under My Results below. Those private results are never included in the community benchmarks in this section.

We compare a new connection with our daily directory of Trybe creators. If the creator ID or username does not match, or the directory cannot be checked, the connection is saved but held until a person reviews it, and you cannot post while it is held. You can show your username on a review only while it matches that directory; otherwise your alias is shown.

We keep connection facts while your account participates, together with your reviews and their earlier versions, ratings, discussion posts, community agreement, reports and preferences. Signed-in members can read published reviews and discussions. Reviews use a brand-specific alias unless you choose to show your username, and general discussion topics use separate aliases. We do not publish your Trybe creator ID, account ID, exact approved-submission count or complete brand list.

In the forum, when you mark a reply Helpful or choose a best answer, we store that mark with your account; other members see only the total on each post, never who marked it. We use these marks to award the optional Helpful member badge, which appears next to your forum name only if you turn badges on, and we never show how many marks you received.

Community benchmarks. Once a week we combine the brand lists of connected members into anonymous per-brand totals, such as “10–19 members joined, about 6 in 10 have approved content.” A brand shows totals only when at least three members contribute; counts are shown as ranges and shares are rounded, a typical approved count is shown only when at least three members have approved content and no one member makes up most of it, and staff accounts are left out. These totals can appear on public brand pages. New connections are excluded by default. You can choose to include your brands from Account and change that choice at any time; a change applies at the next weekly update. Existing connections keep their saved choice.

Moderators review content without seeing who wrote it. Only the site owner can reveal an author, for moderation and safety, and every attempt is recorded in a separate protected log. We never share reviewer identities with brands or other users. If we receive a legally binding request for user information, we assess its validity and scope, disclose only what is required, and notify the affected user when we are permitted to.

An alias and delayed publication cannot guarantee anonymity. Writing style, unusual experiences, timing and details in your text may identify you. Do not include private messages, contact details or identifying details about someone else.

Brand representatives request access for one brand. We confirm their authority independently, through an official channel, and keep request notes, verification notes and representative account details private. A brand account does not receive creator verification and cannot review a brand it represents.

Community pages and the Trybe connection page never load experience analytics, affiliate or analytics scripts. Once the community is open to all members, brand pages will not load them either. Optional community emails contain only a sign-in link, without post text, author names or brand details. They are off unless you turn them on, separately from sign-in mail and your subscription.

Connection challenges expire after ten minutes and are removed within a day. Notifications and earlier versions of edited discussion posts are kept for 90 days. Connection facts and contributions are removed when your account is erased; queued work is cancelled, and a removed post leaves an empty placeholder so other people’s replies stay readable. We keep a moderation log for up to one year without the erased account or creator link. Request counters are removed after two days. Encrypted operational backups are kept for up to 90 days. A valid legal hold may require a different retention period.

My Results: your private Trybe results

My Results, first released as the Private My Trybe pilot, shows your own Trybe earnings and submission results in one place. It is available to signed-in members who have full beta access and a connected Trybe account; a free waitlist account cannot open it. It is separate from the standard connection described above, and it reads nothing until you turn it on by pressing Get my results on Connect Trybe or My Results, or by starting a refresh on the My Results page. Reading is off until you switch it on, the switch turns itself off when you leave the page, and each refresh is one you start.

What it reads. When you start a refresh, the TrybeDaily Connector opens your logged-in Trybe creator pages in a temporary Chrome tab and reads what those pages display:

These are the figures Trybe displayed at the time. Lists can be incomplete and amounts can be rounded; the video rows are a ranked sample, not a complete export.

What it never reads. My Results does not read your Trybe password, login tokens or cookies, bank or payout-account details, private messages or chats, submission feedback, scripts or video files.

Saved to your account by default. Your results, your earlier refreshes and the thumbnail images are kept in this browser, and a copy is saved to your TrybeDaily account so they open on your other signed-in devices. The copy is saved as soon as your totals are read, and again at the end of each refresh. The saved copy is encrypted before it is stored, with a key held by TrybeDaily. That is encryption at rest, not end-to-end encryption: our servers decrypt the copy to send it back to you while you are signed in. Each saved copy is tied to your account and your Trybe creator ID, and no public address serves it. An individual creator’s saved results are never published, shown to other users or sold. Access by TrybeDaily staff is limited to support, security and the private combined statistics below, which never show one creator’s numbers.

Turning saving off, and deleting. One switch on My Results turns saving off. The switch is remembered in the browser you run refreshes from; after that, new refreshes from that browser stay in that browser only. The delete action on My Results removes the saved copy from our storage right away and leaves the results in this browser alone. Deleting your account in Account removes the saved copy too. If your beta access ends or your Trybe connection is removed or held for review, the saved copy can no longer be opened, and the My Results page still offers the delete action. If your account is later connected as a different Trybe creator, copies saved under the earlier creator are deleted and are never shown under the new one. Clearing this browser’s site data removes the local copy; the page offers a JSON export of results and history, without thumbnail images.

How long we keep it. We keep the 10 most recent saved copies for an account, and older ones are deleted as new ones arrive; each copy already contains your earlier refreshes. We keep up to 1,000 thumbnail images for an account. If you neither sign in nor save a new result for 12 months, the saved copy is deleted and your account stays. Saved results are not copied into our operational database backups.

Thumbnails. Thumbnail images come from Trybe’s image host. The My Results page can fetch them through a TrybeDaily image proxy that accepts only Trybe thumbnail addresses, works only for a signed-in My Results member, and does not keep the image. To prevent abuse, an account can save a limited number of copies and images in a day, and a copy or image above a fixed size is refused.

Combined statistics. TrybeDaily may combine saved results privately to study patterns at the brand level: for example the share of submissions a brand approves, how often a brand asks for revisions, or the typical earnings per approved video. The owner can also see combined figures across brands, grouped for example by how many approved videos members have on Trybe, or by a video’s length, hook rate, click-through rate or the day it was submitted. The owner can also see more figures for each brand, worked out partly by comparing your earlier saved refreshes. These include how long approval takes, how long submissions wait, how often the brand pays, how much its videos earn and for how long, whether pay has changed since a month earlier, and pay per link click. The owner can also see how many members first posted for a brand within 30 days of following it on TrybeDaily, worked out by comparing the brands you follow here with the dates in your saved submission lists; it is shown only as ranges of members and brands, never which brands or which members, and follows the same rules below. These are worked out only by the daily calculation, leave out staff accounts, and follow the same rules: at least five creators and no one creator over half, and for groups of videos also at least 30 videos and no single video over a third of their earnings. Counts of members are shown as ranges and money is rounded. These figures are seen only by the owner, never by members, brands or partners. Some combined figures can appear to signed-in members on brand pages and My brands: a brand’s approval rate, typical pay per approved video and typical monthly earnings for members paid by that brand. They are shown as ranges and rounded numbers, with the number of contributing members given as a range, and only under the rules below. These rules apply, including to what the owner sees:

Apart from the combined figures shown to signed-in members as described above, saved results are not included in public research, community benchmarks or Scout prompts.

Scout and AI. Your private results are not sent to an external AI model unless you choose that for a question. If you ask Scout about your own results on My Results and agree for that question, the page sends a small summary to Anthropic to write the answer: your totals and how they changed since your previous refresh, up to 22 of your brands, up to 8 per-brand payout totals, up to 22 video rows and a few brand suggestions, without thumbnails, payout dates or your saved history. The summary comes from the page you have open; the saved copy on our servers is not read for it. We keep a usage counter, not the question or the summary.

Invitation preview (next Connector version). With a separate permission switch, a results refresh can also read your own displayed invitation names and offer terms from Trybe Discover. These summaries stay on the device where you refresh, keyed to your connected Trybe creator ID. They are excluded from account backups, community benchmarks and AI. Clear them in your private invitation preview or with Delete saved data from this browser on My Results. The Connector does not accept, decline or apply to programs. This draft feature is not in the Connector version currently submitted to the Store.

Limited Use. Our use of information received from the TrybeDaily Connector, including the earnings, payout, submission and video data read for My Results, follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use it to provide My Results and the features described in this section. We do not sell it, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to decide creditworthiness or for lending.

TrybeDaily Agency

If you join the TrybeDaily Agency on /agency, we store that you joined or left, when, and which version of the agency terms and consent you agreed to. With that consent we use your TrybeDaily data to match you with brands in the agency; leaving stops this straight away. Only the owner sees who joined (your email and join date). Brands never see your private My Results figures. Deleting your account removes these records. To show whether you’ve accepted our invite on Trybe, we check Trybe’s list of the agency’s creators. We look for the Trybe account you connected on TrybeDaily. If you haven’t connected one, we look for your name, counting it only if exactly one creator joined around when you did and matches nobody else. We keep which creator matched, whether you’re on the list and when we checked. A coded copy of the list is kept for up to 15 minutes. If you tap “I accepted it”, we keep that and when. The owner sees whether you’re confirmed, and how, or that you said you accepted, next to your email and join date. Leaving or deleting your account removes these. If you join the TrybeDaily Agency, we look up your public TikTok profile, the products you promote and public sales estimates from a TikTok analytics service, to match you with agency brands. Only the TrybeDaily team sees these; we share them with a brand only if you choose to.

Beta waitlist

If you join the beta waitlist, we store your email address, an optional TikTok handle if you provide one, a referral code and credited referral count so we can organize invitation waves and to help you start your first scan. We do not display waitlist handles publicly. If you ticked ‘I work at a brand or agency’ on the beta form, we may email you about TrybeDaily for brands; reply to unsubscribe. Invitations create an unverified TrybeDaily account before the email is sent; opening the one-time welcome link and accepting the current terms verifies it and grants beta access. Waitlist records remain while the beta is operating or until you ask us to remove yours. Contact support@trybedaily.com for removal. We do not use a typed Discord name to grant Discord access.

Support messages

When you use our support form, your message, name if provided, and reply email are sent through Resend to the TrybeDaily support inbox. We keep delivery receipts and hashed abuse-prevention counters separately from the message. Support correspondence remains in our support mailbox so we can respond and follow up.

Brand-reported numbers

When a brand representative verifies the brand’s numbers on the For brands page, we store their name, role, work email and TrybeDaily account, the brand’s website, the numbers with the visibility chosen for each, their consent and when they gave it, and our review decision. If they choose to show only a range or to keep a number private, we store only the range, never the exact amount. Exact amounts are cleared when the numbers expire after 120 days, are withdrawn or are replaced by newer ones. The work email receives a 6-digit code through Resend, which expires after 10 minutes. Signed-in members see the numbers as the brand chose; other visitors see only that the brand reported them. Private numbers are seen only by the TrybeDaily owner. When someone applies on the For brands page to act for a brand without an email on the brand’s own domain (for example as an agency or contractor), we also store how they act for the brand, their agency’s name and website, the brand contact they give us, and any link or note they send to help us confirm it. To withdraw them, email support@trybedaily.com. The submission and its review history are removed if the representative’s account is erased.

Who handles data for us

These services process data to run TrybeDaily. Each receives only what its job needs.

We will update this list when a provider changes.

AI and your data

We do not use your account details, saved scans, My Results, invitations, notes or community posts to train AI models, and we do not sell them for that purpose. When Scout or a script rewrite sends text to Anthropic, it is used to produce that answer under Anthropic’s API terms; Anthropic states it does not train its models on API inputs and outputs by default. Private results are only used with AI if you turn that on.

Getting a copy of your data

My Results has a Download my data button for your saved results. For a copy of everything else we hold about your account, email support@trybedaily.com from your account email and we will send it within 30 days. You can delete your account from Account at any time.

Asking brands to join, and brand early access

If you’re signed in and press ‘Ask this brand to join’, we store that you asked for that brand so you can take it back; we only use the total number of asks per brand to decide which brands to invite, and brands never see who asked.

If you signed up for brand early access on For brands, or answered Yes to the creator agency on Brand home, we store your email and brand to tell you if we open something you asked about, and to tell you about claiming your brand’s page on TrybeDaily. You can ask us to delete yours at any time by emailing support@trybedaily.com.

When you contact us as a brand, sign up for brand early access, or tick ‘I work at a brand or agency’ on the beta form, we keep a short internal follow-up record (whether and when we contacted you, and a short private note) so we don’t email you twice. Only TrybeDaily staff can see it, and it is deleted with the signup it belongs to.

Questions

For deletion, correction or retention questions, contact support@trybedaily.com. Data is used to operate the site, including its hosting, mail, public-data and requested rewrite services.

Product usage counts

We count onsite actions such as scans, script creation, downloads prepared and requests to open Trybe. These totals do not include your email, TikTok handle, captions or video IDs, and do not measure applications or approvals on Trybe. A daily hash of the connection address limits abuse; it is kept for up to 14 days. Aggregate daily counts remain for reporting. We also count page views of each page type, and of each brand page per brand and day, including how many came from signed-in accounts. These are daily totals only: no account, address or device is stored with them, browsers that send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control are not counted, and per-brand totals are kept for 13 months. A brand’s approved representative may see its own brand page totals in its monthly report. To avoid counting the same visit twice, a daily-changing, salted hash of the connection address is kept for up to two days.

Daily TikTok checks

Optional daily TikTok checks: Creator members can turn on daily checks from Match My TikTok. We look for new public posts, retain existing matches, and email only when new matches are found. Turn this off on the same page, or delete your saved scan from Account to stop checks and remove scan data.
