About the program
WHAT VELU IS VELU is an AI hairstyle try-on. You upload a photo of yourself and pick a style: one from the library, a celebrity look, or any photo you found. VELU puts it on your face in a few seconds. Your own texture stays. Color, volume, or length changes. It's for anyone who has screenshotted a hairstyle and wondered if it would work on them before booking the salon. AUDIENCE People who save hair inspo all the time and are scared to commit. A bad cut or the wrong color costs real money at the salon. Mostly women, all ages. Your video shows them the answer before they cut real hair. BEFORE YOU FILM 1. Download VELU from the App Store. 2. Open it, swipe through the intro, and tap "Get Started" (not the "Sign In" link under it). Answer the short questions. Then a screen with prices comes up. Do not pay. Close it: look at the top-left corner for a small grey circle with an X in it, and tap that. You're in the app. 3. Sign up with Google or with an email you check. If you use Apple, pick "Share My Email". With "Hide My Email" we can't find your account to unlock it. Send us that email in Trybe messages. (You can see it in the app under Profile, then Account.) We unlock full access before you film. If the price screen ever comes back before we've unlocked you, close it the same way. 4. Film in English. Our ads run to a US audience first. 5. Use it for real, on your own face. The best videos are you reacting to your own result. A script shows. THE FORMATS Every video follows one of the formats in the Formats section. The structure is fixed. How you run it is up to you, your own hook at your own pace. - Format A, the try-on reel: your selfie, a flash of looks, then you show how you did it. - Format B, which one actually suits me: you rate each style on your own face and land on the one. - Format C, your idea: your own structure. It opens up once your first 2 videos have run as ads and done well. Structure, hook banks, and reference videos are in the Formats section. RULES FOR EVERY FORMAT - Real you, real face. No stock footage, no AI models, no filters on top of VELU's result. Every competitor ad in this category uses an AI-generated model. A real person is what makes ours different. - Talk to the camera or over the footage. Every video has your voice in it. - Your first line is about you.
