About the program
SoulPrint, The Mirror Minute Make a one minute film about yourself on camera, and tell people what it felt like. SoulPrint writes personalized novels. The Mirror Minute is the free taste of it: you give a first name, make four small choices, add a photo, and you get back a 45 to 60 second film of your story. We want a short vertical video of you doing that for the first time, and reacting to what comes back. WHAT MAKES THIS ONE EASY Nothing ships. There is no sample to request and nothing to wait for, which is unusual here. You can accept this brief and film the same afternoon. Making your Mirror Minute takes about five minutes. Filming and editing is the rest. WHAT YOU DELIVER - One edited vertical video, 15 to 30 seconds, with captions burned in - Two hook clips recorded separately, so we can test two different openings - Your raw screen recording of making the Mirror Minute WHAT YOU NEED A phone, one photo of yourself, and about five minutes. TURNAROUND Four days from accepting. You keep your film. It is yours. You are welcome to post it wherever you like. WHO THIS SUITS Creators who talk to camera like a friend rather than a presenter. Calm, warm, unhurried. If you would rather not be on camera at all, there is a screen recording format with a voiceover and no face, and it works just as well for us. APPLYING Tell us in a line which of the three formats you would pick and why. We are only taking a few people on this one, and we choose on fit rather than follower count.
