How Scout’s brand finder works

Four taps become one plain question that Scout answers from published brand data.

Open Ask Scout and choose Help me find a brand. Scout asks four things:

  1. What you make content about.
  2. How you want to be paid: a percentage of sales, a flat fee per video, or per order.
  3. What matters more: less competition, proven payers, or brand new programs.
  4. Whether the brand should sell on TikTok Shop.

Your taps become one plain question, which you can read before it is sent. You can also type your own question instead.

How Scout answers

Scout answers from the published brand list and each brand’s saved program terms. It does not guess.

  • Every filter you chose is repeated in the answer. If no brand matches all of them, Scout says so and shows what dropping one filter would give. It never widens a search without telling you.
  • Lists show active programs first: brands with an approved post in the last 30 days. If you ask for the fewest creators, the highest rate or the highest paid tier, that order is used instead.
  • The suggestions under an answer depend on that answer, so each one leads somewhere useful.

What the numbers mean

  • Creator counts are Trybe’s tiers, not exact headcounts.
  • Paid-to-creators figures are Trybe’s published tiers, so they are lower bounds.
  • “No cap listed” comes from the saved rules. It does not prove a live program is uncapped.
  • “New” means new on our list, not the date a brand joined Trybe.
  • Scout does not predict what you will earn.

Check each program on Trybe before you apply. Scout is part of the free beta.
